Admissions at Our Pre-school Nursery

Apply Now for an Immediate Start

Joining Our Nursery

We like to show all prospective parents around the nursery before you register your child/ baby with us. This is to ensure that the nursery is the right place for both you and your child/ baby and that we provide the type of care that you require. If after your visit you would like to join Bo Peep's Day Nursery or go on the waiting list you will firstly need to telephone or call in for an application pack.

After completing your application forms you will need to return the forms to the nursery with a

£45.00 non- refundable registration fee.

As a special concession for parents who work at AWE the registration fee is reduced to £25.00

Once a start date has been confirmed several pre visits will be booked for your child/ baby.

These settling in sessions are flexible and free of charge and dependent on the needs of your child / baby to help them settle more easily into nursery. They are usually booked two weeks before their start date. This is to enable extra sessions to be offered if your child / baby is unsettled on their last visit.

The first settling in session you are expected to stay with your child/ baby, it is a chance to talk with the staff who will be caring for your baby / child, to go through babies’ routines, what you need to supply and to read through the policies and procedures whilst they go off to explore. This visit is normally for an hour.

The second visit is for your child/ baby to stay on their own, again this for about one hour. We ask that you hand them over at the door to their keyperson after saying goodbye.

The third visit is for two hours and is usually over a meal time.

Please be assured that if your child/ baby becomes distressed during these visits and they cannot be distracted we will call you to collect them earlier and arrange another short visit.
